All PMDSA and PhD Data Science - Straight PhD Track Applicants will be required to take the validation exam.
Other applicants may be required to take the validation exam depending on the evaluation of the admissions committee.

THE PMDSA AND PHD DATA SCIENCE VALIDATION EXAM HAS THREE SECTIONS:

Programming Aptitude

* The exam will be multiple choice.
THE MASTER OF STATISTICS, MASTER OF SCIENCE IN STATISTICS AND PHD STATISTICS VALIDATION EXAM HAS TWO SECTIONS:
Probability and Statistical Inference
Calculus and Matrix Algebra
* Applicants may be required to take only one or both sections of the exam, depending on the evaluation of the admissions committee.
* The exam will be written problem solving.
