Hotel Fun Facts
The 1950s and 60s era permeates the hotel down to the smallest details: Guests will find Zest soap and VO5 shampoo in the bathrooms and be entertained by retro commercials playing on large TV screens in Bayliner Diner.
Four authentic, working classic cars - a 1963 Thunderbird convertible, 1961 Chevy Impala, 1957 Ford Country Squire Wagon and a 1958 Chrysler Imperial - line the front drive-in front of Bayliner Diner.
The names of each of the guest room buildings – Starlight, Thunderbird, Castaway, Continental, Americana – were inspired by mid-century roadside motels, a tribute to the great American family vacations of the era.
The Jack LaLanne Physical Fitness Studio, named after the “godfather of fitness,” is packed with memorabilia highlighting his career, including his famous juicer.
