Universal Hotel Buses
Schedule: Runs every 10-20 minutes, depending on the UOR Hotel that the guest is staying at and their destination.
Hours: starts running one hour before Early Park Admission and one hour after CityWalk Closing
Drop-Off Location: Transportation Hub for Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida
Cost: Complimentary
Volcano Bay: All Universal Orlando Resort Hotels, except Cabana Bay and Aventura Hotel provide shuttles from the resort directly to Volcano Bay.
Water Taxies
Schedule: Runs every 15-20 minutes
Runs based on weather conditions
Drop-Off Location: CityWalk
Hours:
Begins 1 hour before Early Park Admission.
The Water Taxies run from CityWalk to the hotels until one hour after CityWalk closing time.
Water taxies transport Guest from the following hotels: Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel®, Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
Walking Paths
Walking paths connect all of Universal Orlando Resort Hotels to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk.
Volcano Bay Transportation
Schedule: Transportation to Volcano Bay will begin one (1) hour prior to Early Park Admission and will conclude at park closing.
Capacity: The 40-foot shuttle buses accommodate approximately 80 people when fully loaded.
ADA Compliance: All shuttles feature state of the art ADA ramps and two (2) tie-down locations for wheelchairs and ECVs.
Travel Time to CityWalk: During high peak season it could take from 25 to 30 minutes to get from Volcano Bay to CityWalk.
Hotel Guests
On-site Hotel Guests (excluding those at Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Universal's Aventura Hotel) will enjoy complimentary shuttle bus transportation to Volcano Bay.
Schedule: Runs continously with a maximum wait time of 15 minutes between pick-ups
Shuttle buses will continue transportation back to the hotel until the park sweep is clear which is typically 60 minutes after the published park closing time.
Shuttles: These shuttles are from the existing fleet of blue resort shuttle buses themed with different characters.
On-site hotel guests should only use the blue resort buses.
Each bus has a marquee located on the front, side and rear which will feature the destination of the shuttle.
From the hotels, guests will see “Volcano Bay” OR “Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk” rotating every 3 seconds on the marquee.
From Volcano Bay, the marquees will feature “Royal Pacific and Sapphire Falls” and “Portofino Bay and Hard Rock”.

Premier Hotel Guests will share a route
There are a minimum of 2 dedicated shuttle buses for this route - additional buses run at peak times
Volcano Bay shuttle buses will pick up in same locations as the existing resort shuttles
Prime Value Hotels
(Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort & Universal's Aventura Hotel)
Guests of Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort & Universal's Aventura Hotel will have a dedicated walking path from the hotel directly to the Volcano Bay entrance.
Security will be present and checking for hotel key cards so only On-Site Guests utilize the pathway to Volcano Bay from Cabana Bay Beach Resort & Universal's Aventura Hotel.
Preferred Hotel
(Loews Sapphire Falls Resort)
Preferred Hotel Guests will share a route
There is a minimum of 1 dedicated shuttle bus for this route - additional buses run at peak times
Volcano Bay shuttle buses will pick up in same locations as the existing resort shuttles
Universal Partner Hotels
Partner Hotel shuttles drop off at the CityWalk Drop Off Location
Guests will then board a bus to Volcano Bay at the Citywalk Transportation Hub
Day Guests
There are no parking garages or valet parking at Universal Volcano Bay. Guests will park in a dedicated section of the Universal CityWalk parking garages and take one of the Volcano Bay Shuttles in the bottom floor of the parking garage.
When visiting the park it is more convenient for guests to self-park in the Universal Volcano Bay dedicated section of the Universal CityWalk garages where they will access the park shuttle bus rather than using valet parking.

Drop Off
There is no drop off in front of Volcano Bay.
Guests can be dropped off at the CityWalk Drop Off Location.
Guests visiting Universal Volcano Bay should follow directional signs across the resort to the dedicated Volcano Bay parking section on the first level of the Universal Orlando parking garage. From there, guests will board the complimentary Volcano Bay shuttle to the park's entrance.
