Karl Strauss Brewing Company

When Karl Strauss Brewing Company started brewing full-flavored, quality handcrafted beer in 1989, it was the first craft brewery to open in San Diego in more than 50 years. Guests could enjoy their flagship beers, special releases, and seasonals at any of our six brewery restaurants throughout Southern California, including the City Walk location. There were 10 beers on tap, great food and amazing service. 

Samba Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge

SAMBA Brazilian Steakhouse & Lounge featured authentic Brazilian cuisine serving over 10 types of meat with a full salad and hot bar and family style options. Vegetarian options were available. Samba's full service bar offered caipirinha with over 10 variations, rum, and happy hour specials. Brunch was served on Sunday, featuring all-you-can-eat meat, salad, and breakfast. It also featured daily entertainment of Brazilian samba dancers, carnival style parties, and special events. 

Hard Rock Cafe®

A 1957 spinning classic Cadillac joined Elton John's jacket, Roy Orbison's sunglasses, an autographed Kurt Cobain Nirvana guitar and a host of other rock treasures at this iconic Hollywood-based Hard Rock Cafe. 

LudoBird

Serving up a vibrant and flavorful take on the American classic fried chicken sandwich, Guests could dine alfresco on Chef Ludo Lefebvre's famous buttermilk Provencal fried chicken-inspired menu, featuring signature sauces and side dishes. 

Smashburger

Smashburger was a leading fast casual "better burger" restaurant known for its fresh never frozen burgers that are smashed on the grill to sear in the juices, creating an upscale quality burger packed with flavor and served at a great value. 

Subway

Subway’s “sandwich artists” were at Universal CityWalk, crafting healthy made-to-order foot-long and 6-inch submarine sandwiches. The artists create hot or cold sandwiches from the finest meats, fresh vegetables, cheeses and condiments. 

Tony Roma’s

This was a long-running family-friendly steakhouse chain known for its ribs, onion loaf and Romarita’s. 

 Camacho’s Cantina offered a spacious and colorful dining room adorned with authentic Mexican decorations that added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, a popular and energetic bar-cantina scene and two outdoor dining areas.

Wolfgang Puck Bistro

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill modernizes the traditional “bar and grill” concept with approachable dining in a dynamic setting inspired by traditional farmhouses and a touch of California elegance. 

Saddle Ranch Chop House

Saddle Ranch locations have a large outdoor patio with stone campfire pits where guests can roast their own s’mores or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. Inside each Saddle Ranch is a large, oval-shaped bar in the center of the dining room and, of course, our signature mechanical bull providing endless entertainment to diners. Serving up home-style cooking and down-home hospitality.
