How will my scholar log-on to Gizmos?

Scholars will need to manually enter their username and password each time they log-on to Gizmos. They will be able to access the Gizmos log-in page through OneLogin -> Clever, but they will still need to manually enter their username and password.


How can my scholar create their Gizmos account?

First time Gizmos scholars will need to manually create their account for Gizmos by taking the following steps:

  • Navigate to OneLogin 🡪 Clever 🡪 Gizmos

  • On the Gizmos homepage, navigate to the right-hand side where it says ‘Student Class Enrollment’

  • Enter in the class code given by the teacher and click Enroll

  • From there, click on the Green box that says ‘I need to create an Explore Learning account. Register now to Enroll’

  • Scholars will the enter in the following:

    1. First Name

      1. Example: Big

    2. Last Name

      1. Example: Bird

    3. Username

      1. Their Uncommon email address

      2. Example: big.bird@student.school.org

    4. Password

    5. Note: adding an email address is NOT required!

  • Once scholars have entered in all of their information, they will hit ‘submit’

    1. Save login credentials in a safe place.

  • If scholars need to enroll in another class, they can do so by selecting ‘Enroll in a Class’ on their homepage


What happens if my scholar forgets their username and password?

If your scholar forgets their username and password, you can reach out to your scholar's teacher.


Will my scholar use Gizmos every day?

Your scholar will use Gizmos at least once a week. On occasion, they may use it more frequently. Your scholar's teacher will communicate when they will use Gizmos.


Where will my scholar submit their deliverable?

Your scholar will either submit their deliverable in Gizmos or in Google Classroom. Your scholar's teacher will let them know where and how they will submit their deliverable.


Where can I go if I need help in Gizmos?

  • If you are having any technical difficulties with your Chromebook (can’t login, site is blocked, audio issue, error message, or freezing screen), you should reach out to mindSHIFT Student Help Desk (833-499-0397).

  • If you are having a hard time navigating the platform, please reach out directly to your scholar’s teacher.
