How do I sign in to Zearn?

Scholars will sign on to Zearn through OneLogin -> Clever.

How will my child use Zearn?

GrK: Scholars will use Zearn to practice their counting skills and number sense. Teachers will monitor student usage and use the data in an ongoing basis to provide more targeted math instruction.

Gr1-4: Scholars will use Zearn to learn new grade-level math standards and content by practicing new skills and completing practice problems. Teachers will monitor student usage and use the data in an ongoing basis to provide more targeted math instruction. Here is a short video showing how your scholar will be interacting with the lessons on the platform.

Will my scholar still be using their Zearn workbook?

Yes, your child will continue to use their Zearn workbook in addition to completing the online activities.

When will Zearn Start?

Starting Monday January 4^th, your scholar will complete the Zearn digital activities asynchronously.

GrK

- For FULL REMOTE scholars, they will complete 2 Zearn activities Monday-Friday after the Zoom sessions with teachers for a total of 10 digital activities each week.
- For HYBRID scholars, they will complete 4 Zearn activities on the days they do not attend in-person (M/W or T/TH) and 2 Zearn activities on Friday for a total of 10 digital activities each week.

Gr1-4

- For FULL REMOTE scholars, they will complete 1 Zearn lesson Monday-Friday after the Zoom sessions with teachers for a total of 5 digital lessons each week.
- For HYBRID scholars, they will complete 2 Zearn lessons on each of the days they do not attend in-person (M/W or T/TH) and 1 Zearn lesson on Friday for a total of 5 digital lessons each week.

Where do I go if I need help with Zearn?

If you are having any technical difficulties with your Chromebook (can’t login, site is blocked, audio issue, error message, or freezing screen), you should reach out to mindSHIFT Student Help Desk (833-499-0397).
If you are having a hard time navigating the platform, please reach out directly to your scholar’s teacher.
