What are the in-person expectations? How much in-person time is up to the TL/SL? Can section meetings be over Zoom?

• • • OSE's preference is to have as much in-person as possible when it comes to your section meetings. This means for SLs, unless there is a reason (talk with ProStaff!) we expect your section meetings to be in-person.

    • Common Time (Wednesday 5-7pm on weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) will all be in-person, no zoom option available.

    • TL Meetings (Wednesday 5-7pm on weeks 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14) will all be in-person, no zoom option available.

    • Section Meetings (monthly)

      • • OSE expects SLs to host their section meetings in-person. We have learned during Covid that it is much easier to build rapport away from a computer screen. And there will be weeks we want you to do things together as a section!

    • 1:1 meetings and Office Hours

      • • Please do what feels comfortable to you. We would like these to be in-person, but you are able to host office hours and 1:1s virtually from time to time if you choose. Please update your TL with your plans.

    • Events (for OSE staff and UThrive events for students)

      • • We will be hosting a combination of virtual and in-person events (both for OSE staff and for UThrive points). We found amazing success with some virtual options these last two years and see no reason to not continue to include them in our offerings.

        • Throughout the year, there will be in-person bonding events for OSE staff. While these are not mandatory, they will be planned by students and there will be goodies available, so we hope that you join us!

    • All OSE Staff (Directors, TLs, and SLs)

      • • Tuesday, 8/29: 9:00 - 4:00 (lunch will be in teams)

        • Thursday, 8/31: 9:00 - 4:00 (COLLEGE DAY, WILL BE SPENDING DAY WITH SECTIONS)
