Vongrathayuth Hingphith (ហ៊ីងភិត វង្សរដ្ឋាយុទ្ធ) aka Youth, is currently pursuing his PhD in Comparative and International Development Education in the Department of Organizational Leadership and Policy Development. Having worked for both youth-led nonprofit and international nonprofit organizations, he understands the importance of cross-cultural communication, whether in professional or personal settings. Furthermore, having worked alongside International Students and Scholars Services, he has seen and acknowledged the strengths and concerns of international scholars. 

Therefore, his motivation to be part of the CISC lies behind celebration and empathy. First, with the strength of this diverse community in the College of Education and Human Development, it is essential to have a space where students are celebrated, engaged, and connected. The second motivation stem from the concerns commonly heard and shared by international students navigating the college culture and communication. 

It takes a community to make a beautiful home away from home.
