Dennis Peng

Dennis Peng

China / United States

Dennis Peng(彭家辉) is a junior at UMN. He is currently studying Sports Management and HRD at CEHD. He is also studying East Asian studies (in Chinese). He grew up in a traditional family in Hebei, China. His parents were both Chinese and he moved to the United States in middle school. Being in a different country from his parents, he feels very much in the same boat as an international student, and he really wants to help international students, especially when they come to a new place, because he understands that it can be difficult sometimes. He is also a member of the Chinese Student Union.

Dennis hoped that our university would be an inclusive place for healthy development and learning. When he first heard about CISC, he totally agreed with the mission of CISC and hoped to join it to help others. In the process, he would try his best to let everyone feel that we are a family and can rely on and help each other!
