Ky Nguyen (Ky Win) is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselor Education in the Department of Educational Psychology. She spent many years as an undergraduate, guiding and helping new incoming students/ transfer students (both virtually and in-person) how to adapt to the college environment while working at International Students and Scholars Services. She came to the United States at 15 years old, alone by herself, joining the International Exchange Student Program. She also has been a Global Gopher Leader, International Student Ambassador, and Global Gopher Leader. She understands the struggle of international students and knows the importance of increasing a sense of belonging to those international students. Her motivation for joining CISC lies in empathy and passion. She follows her empathy and passion for connecting all international students and creating an unforgettable memory away from home.
