A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to all of you who made our Writing Retreats 2023 a phenomenal success. Your dedication and creativity during the sessions on October 20, November 3, November 17, and December 1 created an awesome collaborative learning space that was truly unforgettable. We're certain that your passion and hard work will lead to fantastic publications and stellar grades in the future. We were glad to celebrate the opening of International Education with you! Having made more than 80 cups of coffee and teas, one of our board quoted,

We were thrilled to be a part of the Global Gopher Experiences this year. This event welcomed new international students to the university. We were excited to be part of the CEHD breakout room during the GGE to meet fellow students and get to know our community.

We wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for your participation in the CISC Study Session Series for the Spring Semester of 2023. Your presence and engagement have been a valuable contribution to the success of these writing workshops. We understand the pressures of midterm and final periods, and we are delighted that we were able to provide a supportive and helpful environment for your writing goals.

Your willingness to share your writing expertise and learn from each other is admirable, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to facilitate this writing community for you. We hope that you have found these sessions to be valuable and that you have made progress towards your writing goals.

I would like to extend a special thanks to those of you who took advantage of the coffee and tea that we provided. Your enthusiasm and commitment to the sessions are highly appreciated.

CISC Spring 2023 International Student Welcome

Thank you to all who joined us at the CISC Spring 2023 International Student Welcome! Your attendance made it possible for us to welcome new international students who arrived this Spring and connect them with our current CEHD students. We appreciate your efforts in creating a sense of belonging and fostering connections within our community. We hope you had a great time and made new friends. By coming together, we can continue to support one another and make a positive impact on the lives of our international students. We hope that you feel more connected to the international student community at CEHD after attending this event. Don't forget to bring your friends to our upcoming events and be a part of our growing community!

Fall International Student Luncheon

On November 5, CISC hosted a Fall International Student Luncheon, a networking and welcoming event for CEHD international students. Over a casual lunch, international students interacted and made meaningful connections. The event was an opportunity to build a sense of community and learn more about the college’s efforts to support international students. The event, sponsored by CEHD International Initiatives, was attended by over 40 students from 25 countries representing the diversity of CEHD’s global community.

CISC at Homecoming Parade 2022

We thank you for joining us to celebrate the Fall Semester with us. The Homecoming Parade is a long-standing and popular tradition at the University. This event brings together students, alums, faculty, staff, future Gophers, and campus community members to celebrate the University of Minnesota's pride and spirit.
