Upper Grand District School Board encourages ALL students to graduate high school in 4 years.
There is NO deferral of graduation.
Students who return for a 5th year of high school are NOT guaranteed a spot in classes… students will have their timetables confirmed in September once availability is confirmed in classes. Priority will be given to students non-graduated students.
Situations that have caused a student to not attain certain credits will be considered (ex class was full and unavailable in student’s gr 12 year OR student has changed pathways and is attaining pre-requisite courses for post-secondary program). Students are not to exceed 34 credits.

Discuss your plan/request with Guidance (Mrs Bell)
Complete the REQUEST TO RETURN FOR A 5TH YEAR FORM, including parent signatures. Submit to office
Meet with the Principal to discuss your plan and purpose for returning to WHSS
