Institutions Outside of Ontario - Applications

*For institutions within Canada - visit the website for each university/college directly to apply (note: for some universities, marks can be sent to the universities by providing them with your OUAC reference # (which you will receive after applying in Ontario)/ All post secondary institutions outside of Ontario have their own deadlines and fees to apply! * OUAC assists the following Canadian Universities (outside Ontario): Acadia University, Bishop’s University, University of British Columbia, Concordia University, Dalhousie University, McGill University, Saint Mary’s University, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria

*For international institutions - visit their websites directly to apply.  Note: each college/university will have an international admissions officer to guide you. All post secondary institutions have their own deadlines and fees to apply!

*Applying to the United States of America- many institutions use the Common App.  Visit https://www.commonapp.org  The deadline to the link to your counsellor to complete is usually late October / early November.

*SAT/ACT standardized tests - these may be required if you are applying to the United States or to an international post-secondary institution.  Visit: https://www.collegeboard.org for test dates, practice info and test locations. You may write the test as many times as you wish.  Writing it a minimum of two times is recommended.

*For athletes considering the US- make sure you register with the NCAA eligibility centre and that you provide your guidance counsellor with your NCAA# so that your transcripts may be sent to the centre for review https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/  You will also want to ask your Coaches/Scouts/Guidance counsellor to review your credits for NCAA eligibility.
