I'm happiest when I’m being creatively productive. Whenever I’m creating something I know I can be proud of, I feel artistically fulfilled.
My goals are to live comfortably in a house with my future partner and have a teaching job I look forward to every day. I plan to work as a high school choir/drama teacher.
I want to be a good role model to my students and help them figure out what they want to do with their own futures. I want to be a shining example for my future disabled students too; to show them that it is possible to reach the goals you set goals for yourself.
Another goal I have is getting my independent music label off the ground. Particularly, I want to sign music artists in Delaware so they can get their music out into the world from their home state.
My greatest accomplishment? Contrary to most, I excelled in online learning my senior year of high school. If I had not done as well, I do not think I would have gotten into college at all. I was very lucky to get in, let alone into UD and the Associates in Arts Program. I feel the AAP is a great opportunity to get college experience and a degree after high school, it’s a nice transition from being in K-12 to college. It gives lower income students the opportunity to get an associates degree and the ability to move to the main campus.
