My biggest goal is to become a financial director in some sort of bank. My future to me is looking very stable and without worry in a good house with good health.
I have a good system where, based on my workload, I set a certain day each week where I to have all my work done. That way, I’m free for the weekend. So I make sure I do my work Mondays, Tuesdays and finish by Wednesday so I can go out with family on the weekend.
My greatest accomplishment was when I won a traditional Indian dance competition when I was 12 with my cousins. It is meaningful to me because I showed myself how much I can accomplish when I reach for higher goals. I did a traditional Indian dance to an old Bollywood song and we practiced almost a whole two months before the big day. It matters to me because it shows how my culture shapes me. India is my culture and I love everything about it from the food to the language. My language is Gujarti and I know it fluently. I am trying to learn Tamil as well.
With great accomplishments, come great influencers. My mom and dad are the most important people in my life because they actually push me to get my things done or do things I wouldn’t normally do. They just set such good examples to motivate me.
Making time for myself tends to relieve any stress I’m feeling at the moment. What makes me the happiest is dancing. Being in my groove and in my dance set.
What I really like about the AAP is that instead of being in a massive classroom with many students, we have more one-on-one contact with our professors and they're easy to contact than it would be on the main campus.
