First off, I want to give a huge shoutout to my mom and dad. My parents are hard-working individuals and that motivates me to do well inside and outside of the classroom. Knowing where they came from and how they made it to the point where I can live an opportunistic lifestyle is an example of why they are people I look up to. They are the most important people in my life by far and I want to be successful and make them proud. They inspire me to do great every day and I do what I do in school for them almost as much as myself.
Whenever I am having a tough time doing a task, I turn on some music to get me through it. It helps keep my mentality in check and it allows me to focus better when it comes to work. Even outside of schoolwork, I use music to help push me in the gym and give me that ‘locked-in’ mindset.
To me, the AAP is a great way for students to gain college experience at no cost and I would definitely suggest it to upcoming freshmen. When I got into the AAP, I was really excited because I knew that I would save a lot of money and still get the credits I need to get my degree. It is an opportunity that is very hard to pass up on so if you can be a part of the AAP, do it!
