I think the AAP is outstanding. I love it. I love teaching in it. It’s very different from the main campus. I really enjoy how real the people are in the AAP and the specific struggles they face. I also really enjoy the diversity within the AAP. It has gotten better in recent years on main campus but the diversity with regards to students is something I really love in the AAP.
My greatest accomplishment is my children. I have two. We adopted them from India. Adoption is a big thing, a lot of paperwork along with answering questions like how are you going to discipline them and what your religious beliefs are. I said to my husband that anybody that's going to have children should go through this process to be prepared for what's to come. For my son I was 40 and for my daughter I was 45 and it was a really big deal for my husband and I.
