My greatest accomplishment is when I raised almost $20,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Student of the Year Campaign. It was a 7-week campaign that I did in honor of my Mom who is now 7 years cancer free in June. During this time, I reached out to everyone I knew asking them to donate and held 4 different fundraising nights at various different places. On the night of the Finale, I ended up winning the Community Involvement Award which was a complete surprise to me but was a great way to end the 7-week campaign.
My goals in life are to be successful in whatever I decide to do. I would love to work for Disney in Florida, but I would also love to open my own business. Some other goals I have are to travel all over the world and set foot on all 7 continents and visit all 50 states.
My thoughts on the AAP are that it is a great college experience. Though Covid-19 affected the beginning of my college experience, it was a pretty smooth transition from high school to online classes, to back in person in Wilmington. Another thing that I love about the AAP is the price, you can’t beat two years of essentially free college classes! I am interested to see how the transition to main campus will be in the fall and how different it will be.
