"Salary point"
Your TA/GSR contract each quarter will state your "salary point." For GSRs, "salary point" scales are determined by each department. Our department's salary point scale, tentatively, is:
4 before advancing to candidacy
5 after advancing to candidacy
You can confirm this with your faculty advisor.
Ensure your salary point on your contract is correct.
Salary
Ensure your salary is correct in UC Path. The 2023 GSR Wages are available. Salaries are updated every academic year following the 2022 strike; expect the union to be in touch about the updated salaries.
