4 weeks of vacation are scheduled for each resident yearly.

If the elective is in Alberta, Georgina Reid (see contact below) at AHS should be able to provide for the resident. Neither FoM PGME nor individual programs keep these records.
If residents are being asked for a CRC outside of Alberta, the resident needs to find out if a copy from AHS is acceptable or if they have to apply in the province they are doing the elective.
CPSA should be able to provide this however it may need to be sent directly from CPSA to their equivalent in other provinces (ie CPSA to CPSBC).

For local electives, your evaluation will be distributed through One45 (Webeval) to your preceptor.
Most out-of-town electives will require that a paper copy be completed by the preceptor, as many non-U of A staff may not have access to U of A WebEval.
During the second week of your elective, you will be asked to provide the name and e-mail address of your preceptor to electcim@ualberta.ca The evaluation will then be forwarded via e-mail to the preceptor for completion and return.
