Robyn is a full time Postdoctoral Fellow and part time nerd. She spends her spare time playing D&D, hand crafting custom dice, and volunteering for Edmonton's Level Up Gaming League. If she's not at the gaming table you can probably find her in a forest. Robyn's background involves working clinically with children and families who have faced significant adversity. She believes that moving onward from adversity does not happen in isolation and places a high value on community development and the power of interpersonal connection. For these reasons, it was an easy choice to join ACCERT lab where there is a passion for community-attuned interventions and research on improving important life outcomes.
Robyn works on the Math Interactive Learning Experience (MILE) research and development team where she supports the implementation, evaluation, and modification of a math-based learning intervention that not only addresses lagging math skills but also supports behavioural regulation. Robyn also works for the Haqq Lab supporting the development of GoCarer, an online intervention and shared space for parents of children with rare genetic diseases.
