METHOD OF EVALUATION

Students will be assessed through a series of written assignments, including smaller weekly assignments that are graded through peer feedback and assessment.



COURSE DESCRIPTION

The practice of law revolves around writing—from emails to letters to affidavits to facta. In this seminar course, students will learn, discuss, and practice techniques for strengthening the clarity and persuasiveness of their writing, whether in a quick email or in lengthy written arguments. Students will also explore the role of generative AI in writing and will be required to use and assess generative AI such as ChatGPT.


In addition to practicing their writing skills, students will be required to provide each other with regular peer feedback.
