"Studying IPT in Year 11 and 12 was one of the most useful and enjoyable experiences during my time at Trinity. Choosing this subject allowed me to study alongside teachers and fellow students who had a similar interest. It also positively contributed to an increased general knowledge of computer and IT processes, which I see as vital no matter which career path you choose.
IPT is different to a lot of other subjects in the HSC course, especially as a lot of the work involved using computers and learning new programs. This contributed to a good balance of subjects during my time in Year 11 and 12 and fitted in well with the other subjects I selected.
I thoroughly enjoyed and took interest in the IPT course and this ultimately helped me do well in the final exams, achieve a successful ATAR and gain entry into the University course of my choice after graduation."

"It is in these times that technology plays a more crucial role in society, where working from home, online shopping, and school classes are delivered through technology. IPT highlights and explores the emerging trends in digital technologies through the way of hardware and software, providing you with real-world general knowledge.
Working in Finance, our industry is becoming ever-more reliant on digital technologies as we all seek to develop a competitive edge over our competition. IPT helped spike my curiosity of information technologies and how they interact with the world around us."
