kasey lang

Full Name: Kasey Colleen Lang

Parents: Angie and Jason Lang

Siblings: Jacob (21)

Parent/Sibling Trait that you Admire: Something that I admire about my parents is their work ethic and how they have taught me from a young age that hard work can get you very far in life. Also the compassion and love that they bring into the family with the constant support for both my brother and I.

Something that I admire about my brother is how he never lets hard times in life get the best of him and how he always pushes through. He finds the light in every situation and no matter what finds the strength to push through the odds. He has shown me that even if something goes wrong that there is always something brighter to look forward to and that you can't let the negative things in life take over you.

When I was young, I envisioned myself to be: A vet or a teacher.

Future Plans: I plan to attend Bryan College of Health Sciences and major in biomedical sciences.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: In 10 years, I see myself working as a physician assistant, married and hopefully starting a family.

What is your most memorable moment from school years at Treynor: My most memorable moment from Treynor is going to state basketball my sophomore year and state track my junior year.

What extra-curricular activities were you involved in at Treynor? While at Treynor I was involved in cross country, basketball and track. I was also involved in individual speech and National Honor Society.

If you have a day without commitments, what would you most likely be doing? If I had a day without commitments, I would spend my time shopping, getting coffee, going for a run, and hanging with friends relaxing.

What are some of your favorites (e.g. books, movies, foods)? My favorite food is barbecue ribs and my favorite movie is High School Musical. One of my favorite books is It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. I also love carrots and ranch and Reese's peanut butter cups.

What will you miss the most about THS? One of the things that I will miss most about Treynor is the tight knit community that we have and the constant support that is shown by everyone. There is never a day that goes by that I don't feel the support of the community behind me. Another things that I will miss is the loving educators that I have had for the past 4 years. They are some of the best people and they have taught me so much about myself and they are always there for me.

What advice would you give underclassmen? Advice that I would give to underclassmen is that you have to work hard everyday but you also have to enjoy your time in high school. It may seem as this is your whole life, but always remember that life does not start or stop on Highway 92 and that there are so many amazing things that you will accomplish outside of high school that you have to look forward to. Don't stress the little things because it will all work out in the end.
