Full Name: Cayden Thomas

Nickname:  YRA

Parents: Chyle & Melissa and April.

Siblings: Aleczander (10) and Finnley (4)

Parent/Sibling Trait that you Admire: I admire my parents' work ethic and their support throughout my life. These traits have helped shape me into the person I am today and have taught me to never back down from anything in life.

When I was young, I envisioned myself to be: An astronaut or in the NBA.

Future Plans: I plan to attend Iowa Western to complete my general classes then transfer to UNL where I will pursue some sort of degree in business or finance.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: I see myself being financially stable with a family, living beachfront somewhere, working a job I love.

What is your most memorable moment from school years at Treynor: Leading the student sections at the volleyball, basketball, and football games are probably my most memorable moments at Treynor. Yelling at every game with all your friends 'til your voice is gone, supporting your friends on the field or court, and getting all the other students to come out and do the same was something special at Treynor. I think very little if any other years at Treynor have had better student sections than we did during the 2022-2023 season and I'm glad I got the opportunity to help in leading it.

What extra-curricular activities were you involved in at Treynor? Basketball - 1 year; Musical - 3 years; Jazz Choir - 4 years.

If you have a day without commitments, what would you most likely be doing? Making music or hanging out with friends.

What are some of your favorites (e.g. books, movies, foods)? Favorite food - Steak, Sushi, and Watermelon; Favorite time of the day - 6:30 p.m.; Favorite website of all time - coolmathgames.com.

What will you miss most about THS? Students and Staff. All of the staff at Treynor is friendly, welcoming, and willing to help you whenever you may need. They always do things for the betterment of the students and they always have your back. As for the students, I'll miss seeing my friends in the halls and in classrooms every day. I enjoyed hanging out and making memories with everyone at Treynor and it's something I will truly miss when I leave.

What advice would you give underclassmen? Involve yourself in as much as you can and leave high school with no regrets. Do that sport you've always wanted to go out for, talk to people you never thought you would talk to, try something even if your best friend isn't trying it too. These can be the best times of your life, so go out, have fun, and just enjoy it while you can, because high school will end just as quick as it started.
