clara teigland

Full Name: Clara Teigland

Parents: Nathan and Andrea Teigland

Siblings: Anna (23)

Parent/Sibling Trait that you Admire: I admire their drive and dedication to learning and growing every day. Additionally, I admire and am thankful for all of the support that they gave me throughout my years here at Treynor.

When I was young, I envisioned myself to be: A vet.

Future Plans: Attend the United States Air Force Academy and major in Aeronautical Engineering.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: In 10 years, I either see myself still in the Air Force or Space Force serving as a pilot or engineer, or having a job as an engineer outside of the Air Force.

What is your most memorable moment from school years at Treynor: My most memorable moment was either when we made it to the state tournament my sophomore year in basketball, or when we made school history by being the first Treynor girl's soccer team to make it to the state tournament.

What extra-curricular activities were you involved in at Treynor? Basketball, soccer, track, cross country, speech, JOI Club, and NHS.

If you have a day without commitments, what would you most likely be doing? Playing basketball, lifting, or making memories with my friends!

What are some of your favorites (e.g. books, movies, foods)? My favorite book is either It Ends With Us or The Giver, my favorite movie is Where the Crawdads Sing, and my favorite food is sushi.

What will you miss the most about THS? I will miss the supportive community that this town has. It was amazing being able to play sports here while knowing that there were so many people in your corner.

What advice would you give underclassmen? I would tell them to do as many activities as they can and put themselves out there. High school is as fun as you make it, and if you meet new people and make new experiences, you will have the time of your life.
