The band uniform is worn with pride, as a member of the Turramurra Primary School Bands.
It is worn for most performances outside of school, on the first day of Band Camp and for school photos.

Both boys and girls:
Long Black Pants
Yellow Band Shirt
Black socks
Polished Black Shoes
Students with long hair should tie it back during performances, yellow ribbon or headband is preferred
Optional: Band cap
For more casual performances and Band Camp, black sports shorts/skort can be worn with the yellow band shirt. Students will be notified of the appropriate uniform by Mr Rowland and their Band Manager prior to the performance.

A band bag is recommended for carrying music and accessories for rehearsals and performances.
There is a yellow band bag available - an easily identifiable, suitably sized bag, but it is not compulsory - any similar sized tote bag can be used.

The yellow band shirt, band cap and yellow band bag can all be purchased from the TPS Uniform Shop.

Black pants and black socks can be purchased from any clothing store eg Target. Please note that trackpants are not acceptable.
The Band uniform is first worn on Day One of Band Camp*. The Band students feel very special wearing their yellow shirts to school, and it is a good way for the teachers to know who is attending Band Camp. Please be sure to purchase a band shirt by the start of March.
*Note the yellow band shirt is NOT needed for Saturday and Sunday of Band Camp - on these days the students wear casual clothes.
