Rehearsals

Band Room

All band rehearsals are held in the school Band Room. This is located under the school Hall, opposite the uniform shop and toilet block.

In good weather, students set up/pack up and leave their instrument cases outside (see area marked in yellow on the map)

When raining, the students can take their instrument cases inside the Band Room and Band Storage Room, or use the undercover raised landing next to the Hall side door.

Note: On Tuesdays and Fridays the band room will be locked after morning rehearsals so make sure to take your instrument with you to class or it will be locked in.

Rehearsal times

Morning rehearsals: 7:50 - 8:50am (please arrive at 7:45am)

Afternoon rehearsals: 3:15 - 4:15pm (please head to the Band Room straight after school)

The rehearsal days for each band are as follows.

Junior Band

Tuesday morning
Wednesday afternoon

Note: For the first few weeks, until Band Camp

Brass instruments (trumpets, trombones, french horn, euphonium, tuba) only attend Tuesday morning,
Woodwind instruments (saxophone, clarinet, flute) only attend Wednesday afternoon.
Bass Guitar & Percussion will be divided between the two groups. Please check with Mr Rowland which rehearsal to attend

Intermediate Band
