This year, we were very excited to be hosting a fundraiser at the Athletics Carnival to raise money for our TPS Band Program. Even though the carnival was postponed due to a 'bomb cyclone', the BBQ went ahead at school (nothing can stop a sausage sizzle!).
At the rescheduled Carnival, volunteers once again stepped up, running a very popular lolly bag and canteen stall. The lolly bags were especially loved by students and sold out in just two hours!

The MANY families and teachers who purchased a Meal Deal - an incredible number of orders!
All the band families who generously donated lollies - the committee received an overwhelming amount and packed many lolly bags ready for distribution with the Meal Deals and for sale at the Athletics Carnival
Band Coordinator, Alex Murdocca, who helmed the entire project and worked tirelessly to pull it all together
Amanda in the canteen who helped tremendously in the planning and organisation - awesome job!

Thanks to everyone’s incredible efforts, we raised $4000 for the TPS Band Program!
This money was used to reduce the costs of Band Tour and to purchase 42 much needed, high quality music stands for the band room!
