Athletics Carnival Lolly Bag Band Fundraiser - August 2026

A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated lollies, ordered lolly bags, bought at the carnival and took part in the guessing competition.

Thanks to your generosity, we made and sold over 530 lolly bags and raised $1300 for the Band Program! This money will go a long way in supporting our Band members,

Bunnings BBQ Band Fundraiser - July 2026

The Bunnings Pymble BBQ Band Fundraiser was a HUGE success, thanks to the generosity and support of our wonderful TPS community. So many families donated yummy homemade treats for the Bake Sale, whilst others did shifts on the day, helping on the barbie, serving food and cleaning up and so many others came along to support the whole event. We thank you all for your enthusiasm and hard work. Thanks also to our Band Committee members Alex Murdocca, for organising the Bake Sale drop offs and Alison Barnett for admin support.

We send a huge shout out of thanks to Dan Thomas from the P & C committee for his hard work liaising with Bunnings Pymble, buying and organising all that was needed for the sausage sizzle and running the BBQ on the day.

We also thank Kat Mawer from the P & C for her admin and logistical support for the event. We couldn’t have run the day without either of you, thank you for your amazing contributions to the fundraiser.

Lastly, an extra special thank you to the truly wonderful Jen Cameron-Ryan, who helmed this entire project and worked tirelessly to pull it all together. We thank you, Jen for your hard work, leadership and commitment to making this fundraiser such a resounding success!

The Bunnings BBQ and cake stall raised over $3000 for our Band Program! These funds will be put towards Band Camp and Band Tour, reducing the costs per family, and towards equipment and music for our Band members.

Athletics Carnival Band Fundraiser - July 2025

This year, we were very excited to be hosting a fundraiser at the Athletics Carnival to raise money for our TPS Band Program. Even though the carnival was postponed due to a 'bomb cyclone', the BBQ went ahead at school (nothing can stop a sausage sizzle!).

At the rescheduled Carnival, volunteers once again stepped up, running a very popular lolly bag and canteen stall. The lolly bags were especially loved by students and sold out in just two hours!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the fundraiser:

The MANY families and teachers who purchased a Meal Deal - an incredible number of orders!
All the band families who generously donated lollies - the committee received an overwhelming amount and packed many lolly bags ready for distribution with the Meal Deals and for sale at the Athletics Carnival
Band Coordinator, Alex Murdocca, who helmed the entire project and worked tirelessly to pull it all together
Amanda in the canteen who helped tremendously in the planning and organisation - awesome job!
The wonderful volunteers involved with planning, packing orders and lolly bags, setting up, selling, cooking, and packing up
Woolworths Thornleigh who kindly donated sausages for everyone!

Thanks to everyone’s incredible efforts, we raised $4000 for the TPS Band Program!

This money was used to reduce the costs of Band Tour and to purchase 42 much needed, high quality music stands for the band room!
