About Band Tour

Band Tour is an event for Performance Band and Jazz Band. During Tour, students travel to other regions such as the Hunter Valley, South Coast and Blue Mountains to perform at a number of schools and nursing homes.

It is a wonderful and unique opportunity for the Bands to showcase all they have learned in the Band Program and share their music with others. 

The schools chosen for the tours are much smaller than our own and often do not have Band Programs so our performances are an excellent introduction to the music of a concert and jazz band, performed by musicians of their own age

Band Tour offers both musical and social benefits for band members, and for Year 6 students, it is a wonderful way to close out their time in the Band Program.
