 Band Committee Meetings

The Band Committee holds one meeting a term, covering all aspects of the Band Program. Everyone is welcome!

Attending meetings is the best way to find out how the Band Program is organised and run, and to hear of important decisions and events throughout the year.

P&C Meetings

The Band Committee is a sub-committee of the Turamurra Public School P&C. At each meeting, a Band Report is presented.

How you can help

• Attend band meetings to gain insight to the Band Program. Dates for the meetings will be in the Band News of the school newsletter.

• Read the minutes from Band Committee and P&C Meetings to keep up to date with Band Program information - see links above.

• Join the Band Committee - we are always looking for people to join our friendly committee to continue the strength of the TPS Band Program

• Volunteer at Band Camp. All families are expected to volunteer for one shift per child in the program.

• Help with band performances or excursions eg setting up/packing up or supervision

• Help with fundraising activities eg donating items or helping on the day

• Motivate and support your children on their musical journey

• Encourage regular practise and attendance at all rehearsals and performances

• Attend performances and cheer on our bands!
