Empty Dignity
My eyes carved out for millions to see
I am draped in layers of silk
Many kneel at my feet begging for something I cannot give
I am nothing
Yet beneath these layers are years of emptiness
Years of suffering and empty dignity
I am nothing
The lions by my side do not roar for they are cowards
They do not hunt for they are timid
They represent my true feeling-feebleness
I am nothing
The crown upon my head is nothing but status
Representing a polished lie
I am nothing
