Happiness

I woke up that day,

Knowing it was going to be boring as usual.

The rain was dripping outside as I walked to school.

When I walked into class it was silent,

But when the bell rang, something happened.

The sun came out and the birds started chirping,

All of a sudden people started talking and noise filled the air.

The walk home was enjoyable now as I talked with my friends.

As I closed my eyes that night,

I realized that happiness is just right around the corner.
