Mayor Lynn Langlands visited our school - October 2020
The mayor of Bexhill visited our school to collect our Harvest donations for the local foodbank. The school filled box after box of donated food!
On the Mayor's Facebook page, she wrote:
THANK YOU PEBSHAM SCHOOL: Today I had a very enjoyable afternoon at Pebsham School with the Headteacher Mrs Martin. I had been invited to come and collect a very generous donation of food for the Bexhill Foodbank. It was the product of their Harvest Festival, and when I entered the school I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the Pebsham School community. I was made aware that there is an increasing need for the services of the foodbank and this contribution will go a long way to supporting families at this difficult time. A very sincere thank you to you all.
Well done Pebsham!

Children In Need- November 2020
To raise money for 2020 Children in Need, Pebsham Primary Academy sold Pudsey ears. We sold 100 pairs! Well done everyone.
We also had a collection and the children (and staff) dressed as heroes - either superheroes or real life lockdown heroes!
In total, the school raised £266 for Children in Need 2020.
A happy return to school
Our pupils returned to school from 7th September this year. Pupils completed a well-being week, with a focus on well-being and mindfulness. Classes learnt about Zones of Regulation, mindfulness techniques and set their class rules.
We have introduced Read, Write Inc phonics and Mathematics Mastery this year to further develop our school. We continue to offer lots of outdoor learning and our Beach School, Seashore Explorers will continue as soon as we are able to access the beach again, following the restrictions with the current pandemic. We are looking forward to returning to learning at the beach!
