We follow the AQA syllabus of the very popular GCSE Physical Education course (course code 8582). The course is taught over 2 years starting in year 10 and ending with the 2 compulsory examinations taken in the summer of year 11.
The course is broken down into 2 sections,

Sports are made up of 1 team sport, 1 individual sport and one other which can be from either list. See the list left.
Each marked out of 25 (10 marks for skills, 15 marks for performance in a competitive context.)
All grades are based on playing performance.
