For this task we really only looking for a few useable images!
IDEAS FOR SHOOTING
1. Reshooting existing images to improve technical or compositional quality.
2. Shooting to expand an idea to create a series.
3. Shooting more ideas for 1ST half of board to ensure you have a broad enough range of ideas.
4. Shooting to make narrative sense ( for those doing narrative)
5. Shooting for development (2nd half of board 1) See Task 2.
"DO NOT SPEND 3 WEEKS WASTING TIME "RESEARCHING", FIND YOUR ARTIST MODELS AND BULLET POINT IDEAS. "
At this point you will need to introduce new artist models or revisit one you have already explored.
Produce a proof sheets of photographs for each idea. Minimum 20 shots per idea
GROUP YOUR SEQUENCES
On a separate slide, group the most successful images into sequences and annotate to describe your decision-making and evaluation of ideas and methods explored.
Add successful sequences to your board 1 layout.
Complete as many developmental photographs as necessary to successfully and systematically clarify, refine and resolve your ideas to complete Board 1
THIS IS STILL ONLY A DRAFT!
Ask yourself :
• Is my compositional exploration consistent?
• Do the techniques I have used support the communication of my ideas?
Does each image/ sequence serve a purpose being on the board? Or are some images repetitive or confusing to the overall reading of the board.
