When you have looked at a wide range of artists, imagery and portfolios on your google slide start to think about which ideas you are most drawn to and that have the most possibilities for development. Also, think about which ideas excite and inspire you the most.

PRACTICAL SESSION:
Based on your focussed idea do a quick two sequence photoshoot based on your idea. Remember sequences work in twos and threes. Think of angles and lighting, depth of field (deep, mid and shallow), what is you focal point? Rule of thirds.
Add your two selected sequences to this page in your google doc titled "my shoot"
Look at the board 1 example, This board's premise was to question the idea of "censorship". Can you see this?
How many visual ideas can you see from the top to the bottom of the board?
Plan your shoots around 1 concept/theme/question. Use your artist models to push your ideas in different directions. Like the board here clearly does.
When planning your shoots always think - is what I see the same as what someone else will see when they view the board? Ask others to look at your work and tell you what they think it is about. You might be surprised!
