Look at the work of the artists you have researched as well as the ones given to you. You now have to use techniques of these artists to make new images of your subject matter. Look at the architecture from the first part of your year. What can you add to this now? What textures or shapes can you develop further? The first half of Board One is where you introduce your idea. It should be clear to the viewer what your idea is and should offer enough possibilities to sustain exploration for the rest of the portfolio. There should be a range of related ideas introduced and the work should not be repetitive. Think of your colour palette at this stage.
Cut up your layout into individual images, place down and discuss:
Does each image/sequence serve a purpose being on the board?
Are some images repetitive or confusing to the overall reading of the board?
Can it be laid out in another way, what does this do to the message?
What artist models can you look at in your next shoot (look at your research pages)
