Task 4

Finding and gathering "stuff" or subject matter.

To make images in photography you need "things" to take photographs of. Start by making a list the things you will need for your shoots.

You will need to do some of these things for a successful shoot:

1. scan photocopy images or objects

2. make drawings

3. collect pictures/diagrams from books

4. make a construction, sculpture or diorama

5. collect objects and things

6. collect fabrics, costumes etc.

7. find a model that will be reliable at all times, preferably another photography student or family member

8. organise photo shoot times with your model

9. learn a new technique

10. book studio time on the art office door if you need to use the lighting studios

Add all this work to a new slide in your slide doc including images and other related information for your shoot.
