The Very Special Art Exhibit

The Very Special Art Exhibit is designed to highlight the artistic achievements of students who receive special education services. Your teachers went above and beyond to make sure your students are recognized. Amelia Blanchette - Art Teacher

Amelia Blanchette grew up in Lubbock, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University in 2001 and a Master of Art Education degree from Texas Tech University in 2005. She began her teaching career in Levelland, Texas and taught for two years before moving to the Ft. Worth area.

In 2005, she started working for Ft. Worth ISD. This year Amelia will be teaching art to the amazing students at Jo Kelly.

She lives in the Burleson area with her horse, Buzz, and three dogs (Jack, Pearl, and Wee). Amelia enjoys horseback riding, cooking, painting, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
