Brittany has been a registered nurse since 2015 and has been with Fort Worth ISD since the Fall of 2016.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  Before becoming a school nurse, Brittany worked at Parkland Hospital in Dallas in labor and delivery and the postpartum unit.  She worked at another elementary school in Fort Worth before joining the Jo Kelly Staff. She loves horror movies, music, reading, art, and gardening.

Caress was born in Chicago. She was raised in Arlington Texas, attended and graduated from Southern University A&M College, Baton Rouge LA. Caress Abrams has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Sociology background and a Texas Teacher Certification for K-12 Special Education.

Her future educational goals are a Master of Education in Leadership from UTA. Mrs. Abrams had worked as a paraprofessional in Mansfield for three years prior to joining the Fort Worth ISD team.

She has dedicated her life to her husband, children and community. Mrs. Abrams believes every child can shine with encouragement and promoting a developmental atmosphere.

Vanessa has served at Jo Kelly School for 22 years! She has been with FWISD for 28. She has a 23 year-old son. Her son and granddaughter mean the world to her. 

She loves working with the special population at Jo Kelly and she is greatly respected by her peers. 

 She is drawn to the children at Jo Kelly School.
