TdS Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund Grant Policy-Updated 06/24

Funds Available: Each county has been awarded up to $20,000 in calendar year in 2024 for programming. Waseca-Le Sueur System has a combined limit of $40,000.
Eligible Expenses Include (but are not limited to):
May only be spent on programs or activities that promote, preserve or provide access to arts, arts education, and Minnesota’s history and cultural heritage.
All money from the ACHF must be for projects located in Minnesota. Presenters may reside out of the state of Minnesota if they are deemed unique and unlike any who can be found in the state.
Must be spent on activities that are directly related to and necessary for a specific request.
Library Reimbursement:
Libraries must pay their costs up front and then apply for reimbursement. Conditions that must be met for reimbursement can be found here. Being aware at the start of your project of the information you will need for a complete final report will make this easier.
Required Acknowledgements:
Legacy Logo and Acknowledgment of Funding:
The Legacy Logo must be incorporated, where possible, into printed or electronic promotion and be displayed prominently at the site of the program. All publicity and promotional material for your project must include a credit line that is clearly visible on all of your publicity materials and printed in an easy-to-read font size. Failure to do so may result in non-funding of the program.

Application Deadline:
1st of the month by 4 pm for grants with a start date of at least two months later. For example, a grant submitted May 1 cannot begin until at least July 1.
