Program Description
The Ku Klux Klan during the 1920s set a goal to be present in every state. Find out how the Klan developed in Minnesota, the strategies they used, and their ultimate demise in the Gopher State. Local historian and library worker Nancy Vaillancourt has spent decades researching and documenting the activities of the Klan in Minnesota. Each program includes specialized information on the Klan's presence in the local region.
Duration: 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for questions and discussion.
Target Audience: Adults and older youth.
Performer Needs: Projector or TV with HDMI connection, screen, sound system if possible.
Set-up/Take-down time: 20 minutes to set up; 5 minutes to take down.
