As you read, make sure to
Look for the argument's central claim. Ask yourself, "What does the writer want me to believe?"
Look for support for the central claim. What reasons do they give for their argument?
Look for supporting evidence like facts or statistics
Look for counterarguments. Does the author talk about counterarguments? If so, do they refute the counter arguments?
