I will still respond to emails, texts, and messages! I'm also happy to do Zoom calls with you even though class is not officially in session. One good thing about online class is that you can work at your own pace, so please continue to do so throughout the next few weeks. If you want help, more work, or different work, let me know. I've got lots of materials that can help you get ready for the GED test!

I'm Isaac, one of the teachers at Tacoma Community House. I'll be teaching the GED class this summer. I've met some of you before, but not all of you.
Our quarter will run from July 13th-September 3rd. I'm not sure when we'll go back to face-to-face classes, but I really hope we do so before the end of the quarter.
I might do things a little differently than Kathleen or Christian did them, so if there's something I can do that would help you learn, please ask me. This online learning thing is new for me too, and we're all still figuring out the best way to do it.
Times are crazy, aren't they? I can't wait to be back at school and see everyone in person, but until then, I hope you and your families are doing OK. Don't hesitate to send me an email if you have questions or need help with anything.
This quarter, we'll study math, science, and RLA (Reading and Language Arts). Math will be through the website myopenmath, like last quarter. For science and RLA, I'll usually put up 4 pages of activities a week. This DOES NOT mean you have to do one page each day! Please, work at your own pace. If you don't finish everything in a week, that's alright. I know everyone's lives are crazy right now, so just do what you can.
