Workshop A: Large Language Models (LLMs) Workshop: The workshop will explain the development and application of Large Language Models in Applied Linguistics research. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different LLMs for tasks such as grammar correction. Laptop computer required.

Workshop B: Corpus Linguistics Workshop: We will explore ways to analyze linguistic patterns in a large set of texts containing authentic written and spoken data (Software used: AntConc, LexTutor, & CHILDES) 

Workshop C: Extended Reality (XR) Workshop: This workshop provides an introduction to incorporating virtual reality (VR) into language learning environments, aimed at educators seeking to explore its potential both within and beyond traditional classrooms. Participants will explore VR's uses and pedagogical frameworks, gaining insight into its diverse applications. Attendees will experiment with VR language learning apps, broadening their understanding of its effectiveness and unique affordances firsthand.
