Amy Li is a public high school Mandarin teacher and a first-year Ed.M. student in Applied Linguistics at Teachers College, Columbia University, specializing in Language Assessment and Technology. With a background in K–12 Chinese language education, Amy is passionate about exploring how artificial intelligence can support equitable and effective language assessment. Her current research focuses on AI-assisted language assessment and the ways students and teachers perceive and engage with AI-based feedback tools.
Beyond the classroom, Amy co-hosts an education podcast that features discussions on international education, teaching careers, and cultural perspectives in schools around the world. Through both practice and research, Amy aims to bridge the gap between classroom experience and emerging technologies to advance innovation in language learning and evaluation.
