Sijia Cheng is a 2nd-year graduate student in the Instructional Technology and Media program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She earned her bachelor's degree in French from Wuhan University in China.
Previously, Sijia worked as a language assistant of Chinese at a public elementary school in Paris, France, where she facilitated introductory Chinese language and culture classes, employing multimedia resources and interactive methodologies to engage young learners.
Motivated by her teaching experience and passion for educational innovation, she seeks to integrate AI-driven technologies with instructional design principles to create personalized learning environments that effectively support ESL students.
