Happy Monday!
First and foremost, I hope everyone is safe and all of your family and friends are healthy. This newsletter is created to support you and if you have any suggestions for how I can make it better please email me at cblennau@tauntonschools.org. I want to be sure that I am doing the work that is going to support digital learning. Using technology to enhance instruction is important to me. I want to remind you that if you have any questions or if you need support please reach out to my department at support@tauntonschools.org. If you need PD or support around an application or skill please reach out and I can schedule a session with you and/or your school and colleagues. Please know that I am very appreciative of all you are doing for your students. I continue to be amazed by the rapid growth of technology skills being acquired by all. Please remember to take care of yourself. Your well being and your health is important.
Because I have seen and heard about the sharing of resources among colleagues I would like to compile a youtube channel and a folder of videos and resources that teachers across the district are making. If you are willing to share your videos and resources please consider completing this form where you can upload/link the files you create. No pressure. Reminder about SPAM: Please review all email to see if the sender information is accurate. Often times you will get spam emails and the sender email address is not that of a TPS employee. Google Guardian Summaries
Google Guardian Summaries
Last week I was able to acquire software that allowed me to perform a sync from Schoolbrains to Google. With this I was able link guardian emails listed in Schoolbrains to student Google accounts. Now if you choose to turn on your guardian summaries in Google Classroom most of your students will have an an email and an invitation will be send on your behalf. The Guardian invite will have my name associated with it but parents should accept to get these summaries. If your guardians have more than one email address or if they ask about adding an additional email address that is not a problem. You can add multiple emails to the guardian summary section.
