If you want to strengthen your skills as your school's Social Media Editor, please take the time to explore the resources below. You have a powerful position which could help to shine a positive light on your school and share the stories of the people who fill the hallways.
Facebook Editor for School Page
Are you the appointed Facebook Editor for your school page?
If so, please read the policy posted here. You will need to sign that you have read and understand the TPSS Facebook Protocol for adding and managing the content posted on your school's FB page.

Accepting the Invite to Edit Your School's FB Page
You will receive an email with an invitation to access your page (in the inbox of the email you used to create your Facebook account). You will need to accept the invitation before you can manage tasks on your page.
If you don't receive the invitation, you can try these steps below.
FROM FACEBOOK WEBSITE:
check the top right corner of your computer screen for a notification
Check the sidebar on the left side of the screen for a notification
Click the Invites option in the top left of the screen
Search and Navigate to the school's page on Facebook. See if there is a notification there for you to accept.
Have your account manager cancel and resend the invitation
FROM FACEBOOK APP:
check your notifications
under your profile, navigate to PAGES and look for an invite there
Permissions of Facebook Access
As a Facebook Editor for your school page, you will have partial control of the settings:
Content: Create, manage or delete any content on your Page like posts, Stories, and more. Apply for and access ways to manage rights to and potentially monetize your original content.
Messages: Respond to direct messages as the Page in Inbox.
Comments: Respond to comments on the Page and edit or delete existing comments made by the Page.
Linked Accounts: Add, manage or remove linked accounts, such as Instagram.
Insights: Use Page, post and ad insights to analyze the performance of the Page.
Events: Create, edit and delete events by the Page.
Removal and Bans: Remove or ban people from the Page.
Be careful when posting!
Always double check that you are under your school page when posting school content. Likewise, make sure you are not using the school page to post personal/family content!
